Why Partner with I M U?
Partnering with I M U helps newcomer and multilingual youth feel belonging, succeed in school, and thrive in positive learning environments. Our partners provide space, guidance, and local expertise, helping programs meet community needs and support youth where they live and learn.
As we expand to new sites, such as our first model site in Charleston, partners have the opportunity to pioneer approaches that strengthen schools and communities.
Together, we create real-world impact, fostering leadership and lasting positive outcomes for youth.
What Partnering with I M U Looks Like
Expected Tasks
- Attend at least 1–2 workshops or events annually (as agreed)
- Participate in collaborative planning or check-ins
- Share expertise, resources, or guidance that supports youth impact
Time Commitment
- Flexible depending on the type of partnership
- Typical engagements range from a few hours for workshops to ongoing collaboration for multi-year projects
